Intermittent Fasting means you should eat intermittent. It's basically helpful for your weight loss. During this time You can divided your day by fasting window and eating window. During fasting window you should drink more water(3 to 4 liter). If you like tea then you can drink black or green tea without sugar. You can follow Intermittent Fasting by many methods. But there are three methods are most popular.
- 16/8 Intermittent Fasting method
If you want to follow Intermittent Fasting then in one day you can follow 16 hours of fasting and remaining 8 hours you can eat.For example if you finish your meal at 6pm and don't eat until next morning at 10am. You are technically fasting for 16 hours. This is most Popular method to follow fasting.
2. Fasting for 2 days a week
This is basically called a 5:2 diet. You can eat good amount of healthiest foods for 5 days a week and you can reduce your calorie intake for other 2 days.
you can consume maximum 500 to 600gm Calories during the 2 days.
3. Complete Fasting for 24 Hours
This method basically called a Eat stop Eat diet.
You can follow complete Fasting for 1 or 2 days a week. Complete Fasting means you shouldn't eat for 24 Hours. On the other days you can eat.
What to eat during 16/8 Intermittent Fasting method
Maximum number of people use this method. During this method you follow 16 hours fasting window and 8 hours eating window. You can follow fasting from 6am to 2pm or 10am to 6pm or 12am to 8pm any of these. During 8 hours you should eat healthy foods if you want better result from intermittent fasting. Healthy foods like you can eat green vegetables, whole grains, Protein, high fiber foods, Fruits, healthy fats.
Vegetables: Cabbage, Kale, Broccoli, Spinach, Green beans, Carrots, Sweet potatoes, Green Peas, Tomatoes, Okra, Green bell peppers.
Proteins: Egg whites, Fish like salmon or tuna, Chicken breast, if you vegetarian then you can eat Lentils, Tofu, Panner, Milk or yogurt.
Fruits: Apples, Avocados, Guavas, Bananas, Plums, all types of berries, Mangoes, Pomegranate, Pears, Papaya, Oranges, Pineapple.
Grains: Oats, Quinoa, Brown Rice, Brown Breads, Chapati.
Healthy Fats: whole eggs, Almonds and walnuts, Dark chocolates, olive oil, Coconut oil, CHIASEEDS and flaxseeds.
